Why Australia??

Thanks to the scholarship that I received last year, my mind changed. I began to travel for the whole Europe, learning new cultures, languages, doing friends in the whole world, learning of every experience something new.

All these changes concerned also my way of seeing the world, of valuing the persons, of estimating the small things of every country, of every friend that i met, of every feeling that had. I believe that I have matured more in this last year that in all my life, and i can estimate it in my work as designer. I though that I still have to learn and since this year already I have my expectations clearer, I have decided on Australia as destiny of the scholarship Promoe, because Australia is one of the countries that more me impress.

Have natural beauty, espectaculars beaches, the climate, … it is a country with very developed design. In the schools of design it is possible to estimate perfectly this fresh and young image of the design, this spark that my works need.

This is my last year as student of Fine Arts and I would like to complete the end of my studies with this experience, and thus to develop a final project of career with a new and fresh view.

I would be charmed with being able to know this country, the culture, the people, the music, the history, … new friends to meet, to study in another language, to know the trends of the design, to introduce new ideas in my works inspired by this country, and especially to return to Spain knowing that has been one of the best experiences of my life.

Gracias a la beca que recibí el año pasado, mi mente cambió. Comencé a viajar por toda Europa, aprendiendo nuevas culturas, lenguas, haciendo amigos en todo el mundo, aprendiendo de cada experiencia algo nuevo.

Todos estos cambios afectaron también a mi forma de ver el mundo, de valorar a las personas, de apreciar las pequeñas cosas de cada país, de cada amigo que hacía, de cada sentimiento que tenía. Creo que he madurado más en este ultimo año que en toda mi vida, y esto se puede apreciar en mi trabajo como diseñadora, aunque se que me queda mucho por aprender y puesto que este año ya tengo más claras mis expectativas, me he decidido por Australia como destino de la beca Promoe.

Australia es uno de los países que más me impresionan, a parte de su belleza natural, sus playas, el clima, … es un país en el cual el diseño esta muy desarrollado. En las escuelas de diseño se puede apreciar perfectamente esa imagen fresca y joven del diseño, esa chispa que necesitan mis trabajos.

Ya que es mi último año como estudiante de Bellas Artes, me gustaría completar el final de mis estudios con esta experiencia, y de este modo desarrollar un proyecto final de carrera con un aire nuevo y fresco.

Me encantaría poder conocer este país, su cultura, su gente, su música, su historia,…hacer nuevos amigos, estudiar en otro idioma, conocer las tendencias del diseño, introducir nuevas ideas en mis trabajos inspiradas por este país, y sobre todo volver a España sabiendo que ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida.
